I just got back from New Orleans!!

Oh MY LORD!! The TV cannot even come close to how the situation is downtown! I was there for only 5 hours and couldnt stay any longer as I couldnt risk it for my family.


The looting is bad and you can literally HEAR women being raped by the various "gangs." Now maybe today it was better, but yesterday was pretty bad! Disease will DEFINTELY be rampant in a few weeks and you will deaths upwards of around 5000 in a 3 month timespan directly from this storm in NEW ORLEANS alone!


I wouldnt recommend ANYONE going to the downtown area ANYTIME SOON! If you are a WASP, then you are DEFINITELY in trouble downtown!


I was there for medical reasons but we couldnt leave the copter in the city for safety reasons.


God bless for everyone still left in city! Lets all pray that God and JESUS will show us mercy!

I thought that we were going to help out with medical services. It turns out that we were not very welcome since we were shot it in our helicopter over ALGIERS!

While I know there has been gunfire and such, did you see someone shooting at you? Did your copter get hit? How can you tell if someone was shooting at you (per se) without seeing them shoot at you or having it hit the copter? I'm not trying to be a wise ass either. I'm just curious.

Personally, I wish the 'troops' would shoot anyone holding a weapon. Anyone carrying a weapon, shot...just like that. But they won't.

We could see them on the groung shooting, but I believe that we were too high for the shots to reach us.


Well these guys probably will not be caught because the people in the community who know who these thugs are, have been gone for sometime. Therer will NEVER be a community in that part of NEw Orleans EVER again!
